The Meteorological Department says that the rains are expected to decrease from tomorrow (20th).
Showers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North Western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.
Showers or thundershowers during the evening or night can be expected in Uva and Eastern Provinces.
The Meteorological Department warns the public to take necessary measures to reduce the risk of temporary strong winds and thunderstorms.
