The booster vaccine will be given to those over 60 years of age from tomorrow (17), said Minister of State Prof. Channa Jayasumana.
The program will be launched in the Western and Southern Provinces and in the Anuradhapura and Ammara districts.
The Minister said that the Pfizer vaccine is given as the booster vaccine and people over 60 years of age who have completed three months after receiving the second dose will be able to receive this vaccine.
