Fisheries Minister Douglas Devananda said that the government has decided to hand over 3,000 acres of land in the Valikamam North area in Jaffna which was under the control of the security forces to its original owners.
He said that he had recently discussed with the President the issue of handing over the lands which were under the control of the security forces during the war and the government is currently taking steps regarding the issue.
