Due to the prevailing Covid epidemic situation, a gazette notification has been issued requiring the prior approval of the relevant authorities for meetings, activities, festivals or similar venues held in the country.
Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has issued the gazette amending the Quarantine and Prevention of Diseases Ordinance.
