A special Cabinet meeting chaired by President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is scheduled to be held on Friday (12) from 10.00 am to 12 noon at the Presidential Secretariat.
It is reported that the Ministers will be briefed on the budget to be presented to Parliament on that day.
Due to this special cabinet meeting, the cabinet meeting scheduled to be held yesterday was also not held.
All Cabinet Ministers have been informed in this regard.
