A special meeting between Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and the leaders of the government’s partner parties is scheduled to be held in Parliament this afternoon (22).
According to political sources, the Prime Minister’s Office has already informed the leaders of the partner parties representing the government in Parliament to participate in the discussion which will be held at the Prime Minister’s Office in Parliament.
This discussion is being held against the backdrop of the opposition of the minority parties in the government against the transfer of 40 percent of the shares in the Kelawarapitiya Yugadanav power plant to an American company.
