Sri Lanka’s mass vaccination drive has received plaudits from the world. As a country, Sri Lanka ranks among the handful of states that reached its vaccination targets in the span of a short period.
Though arduous it was, the country’s leadership from top to the bottom has achieved this target.
Traveling the length and breadth of the country, trudging rugged terrain and parched lands, and crossing footbridges through water-clogged areas, those involved in the task discharged their duties with diligence.
Included here are health workers such as doctors, Public Health Workers, nursing officers, other health workers and Grama Niladharis. Blessings for them!
