The Deputy Director-General of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Hemantha Herath, said that there is no method implemented to check the vaccination card for having been vaccinated against Corona when someone is traveling or entering a place.
He said that no instruction or any guidelines have been issued to check the card stating that he/she had received the corona vaccine.
Mr. Herath said he was unaware that the corona vaccine card was being checked at entry or departure in public places, and that he did not know if anyone above the health authorities was enforced the law, as the Ministry of Health had not issued such a law.
