The gazette notification appointing Jayantha Ketagoda to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Ajith Nivard Cabraal has been issued today.
Jayantha Ketagoda, who was a National List MP, resigned two months ago to give Basil Rajapaksa the post of Member of Parliament.
Accordingly, Mr. Jayantha Ketagoda’s name was included in Gazette No. 2235/35 on July 07 regarding his resignation.
