Minister of State Ajith Nivard Cabraal handed over his resignation letter to the Secretary-General of Parliament a short while ago.
The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has decided to appoint Jayantha Ketagoda to fill the vacancy left by his resignation, said Sagara Kariyawasam, General Secretary of the SLPP.
