Minister of State for Pharmaceuticals, Supplies and Regulation Prof. Channa Jayasumana has stated that there is a decrease in the number of young people attending for corona vaccination centers.
He says that the reason for this is an unfounded fear among the youth that vaccination will lead to ‘infertility’
The Minister of State emphasized that no research in the world has shown that the Covid vaccine causes such fertility problems.
He was speaking to the media after a ceremony in Thambuththegama.
