The 2025 Local Government Election is being held today (6th) from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A total of 13,759 polling stations have been established across the island.
Altogether, 17,156,338 eligible voters are expected to cast their ballots to elect members to 339 local government bodies.
The Election Commission has urged voters to arrive early at polling stations and make use of their right to vote.
