Pastor Jerome Fernando has been remanded until December 27.
That is after he was presented before the Colombo Fort Magistrate today (Dec. 13) in the morning.
He was remanded for the first time on December 1 after his arrest by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
He was arrested a few hours after reaching the premises to record a statement to the department for the second day in a row.
Pastor Jerome Fernando appeared before the Secret Police for the first time on November 30 and gave a statement for about 08 hours.
This investigation is being carried out on the basis of complaints received by the Criminal Investigation Department due to insulting statements against other religions during religious services.
