The Chairman of the Central Environment Authority Mr. Supun S. Pathiranage was arrested today by the Investigation Division of the Bribery or Corruption Investigation Commission.
Information from the Bribery Commission revealed that he was arrested when he went to collect a bribe of one crore rupees.
