The State Ministry of Provincial Councils and Local Government says that from the first of January next year, the payments made to all local government institutions will be made online.
State Minister Janaka Vakkambura mentioned that the pilot project has been successfully implemented.
He said that under this, people will be able to pay various payments, including assessment taxes, efficiently.
