The government is preparing to ban unregistered non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, Public Security Minister Tiran Alas said that non-governmental organizations that are not registered with the National Secretariat will be banned.
In the recent past, there has been a lot of talk in the society regarding non-governmental organizations.
At the press conference held at the Presidential Media Center, the minister said that measures will be taken to investigate the non-governmental organizations operating in the country.
