Two students who participated in an inter-school Elle competition held at the Vavuniya University Sports Ground died this evening when they were walking in the area outside the stadium when they fell into a water hole.
Two students studying in a school in Pattanvur have drowned.
These students are aged 14 and 15 and are residents of Pattanvur.
The two drowned children were found after a joint search by the police and local residents.
