The officers of the Colombo Central Division Crime Investigation Bureau have arrested two suspects with the motorcycle that the shooters used to shoot and kill an underworld criminal named Kavi in a hotel at Keselwatta Matis Lane on the July 30th.
The two arrested are residents of Maradana working as brokers. The Police Media Spokesman’s Office states that they are 20 and 30 years old and that the motorcycle was given to the shooters by the two of them.
These two suspects have been handed over to Keselwatta Police Station. They are going to be produced before the Aluthkade Magistrate’s Court today.
