The government decides that there should be some regulation regarding the sale of consumer goods including drinking water bottles at high prices in Dehiwala Zoo.
This has been discussed in the Sectoral Oversight Council on Environment, Natural Resources and Sustainable Development.
Also the fact that Butterfly Park has not been opened for tourists since many years was also considered.
The chairman of the committee, Member of Parliament Mr. Ajith Mannapperuma and other members of the committee Mr. Akila Ellawala and Mr. Varuna Liyanage also participated in this event.
