The Consumer Affairs Authority says that special raids will be conducted covering the whole island to find shops selling goods at higher prices than the marked price.
The director of raids and investigations of the authority, Russell Zoysa, said that the law will also be enforced against traders who sell goods without displaying the price.
He further claims that the raids will also be carried out focusing on restaurants.
