Minister of State Shehan Semasinghe says that the beneficiaries of the Aswasuma welfare program who have not submitted objections and appeals will be given relevant allowances from this month.
There have been over a million appeals and objections to the welfare benefits program.
He said that 982,770 appeals and 62,368 objections have been received so far.
The State Minister said that this will not change the payment of elderly, disabled and kidney allowances.
