The police say that 20 houses have been burnt in a fire that broke out yesterday in a row of slums in the middle part of Ragala Watta.
Ragala Police stated that for this reason, a group of estate plantation workers from 20 families were temporarily relocated to other places.
The cause of the fire has not been revealed. No casualties were reported.
