The Central Bank of Sri Lanka states that the payment of money to the depositors of Swarnamahal Financial Services will be made until the 12th of July.
According to the Central Bank, a depositor of the Swarnamahal Institution will be entitled to a compensation of up to 11 lakhs each under the Sri Lanka Insurance Deposit Liquidity Support Scheme.
Eligible depositors can avail the compensation from any branch of People’s Bank.
Swarnamahal depositors have also been paid some part of their deposits by Swarnamahal from time to time.
