The Embilipitiya Police has started an investigation regarding the theft of three motorcycles that were used as evidence in the Ambilipitiya Magistrate’s Court.
The court registrar of Embilipitiya filed a complaint yesterday that two of these motorcycles were stolen from the court premises as evidence, and another complaint was filed with the Embilipitiya police on the 13th.
This theft took place while security guards as well as the police were deployed 24 hours a day for the security of the Ambilipitiya Magistrate’s Court.
