The Department of Archeology has completed the investigation of the Presidential Palace captured by the militants.
The department said that its report will be handed over to the police immediately.
The Department of Archeology also said that during the investigations, it was found that the Presidential Palace building as well as the archaeological monuments and paintings that were buried there were damaged or not.
Meanwhile, the Department of Archeology also stated that reports have been given to the police about whether the Temple Trees Palace and the Prime Minister’s Office were damaged by the protesters.
Last July 9, the President’s House was captured by the protesters. As a result, the historical belongings in the Presidential Palace were heavily damaged.
