The Ceylon Electricity Board Engineers’ Association says that there is a possibility of a power cut for an hour tomorrow (24).
They also point out that there will be a two-hour power cut in four categories from the day after tomorrow. (25).
Earlier, the authorities had said that there would be a power cut for an hour and a half from tomorrow.
The power outage was caused by a number of factors, including the dollar crisis, the suspension of hydropower generation due to dry weather, and the repair of several power plants.
