Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has instructed Secretary to the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing Sirinimal Perera to provide a new home to Dinesh Priyantha Herath, who set a new world record at the Paralympic 2020 Javelin Throw in Sri Lanka and won a gold medal for Sri Lanka.
The Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Urban Development and Housing has instructed to expedite the provision of the relevant house through a housing project implemented by the Urban Development Authority, the Prime Minister’s Media Unit announced.
Accordingly, the Secretary to the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing Sirinimal Perera has instructed the Chairman of the Urban Development Authority Udaya Nanayakkara to identify a house from a suitable housing project and make arrangements to provide the relevant house.
