The government says that measures will be taken to pay the salaries, pensions and allowances of the government employees for the month of April before the 10th of April.
State Minister of Finance Mr. Ranjith Siambalapitiya said this while speaking to the media in the Kegalle area.
He also said that due to the Sinhala Hindu New Year, the President has given instructions to take steps to make those payments that are traditionally made.
