It is reported that there is a plan to revise the electricity bill from next June.
The Ministry of Power and Energy has said that the Ceylon Electricity Board is preparing the proposal on electricity charges for that purpose.
Its final proposal is to be submitted to the Public Utilities Commission next week.
After the Sri Lanka Electricity Board submits the relevant proposal and gets the approval of the Public Utilities Commission, the revision of the electricity bill is certain to happen.
