The All Ceylon Joint Specialized Economic Centers Association states that vegetables will not be distributed to any Economic Centers the day after tomorrow (28).
Its chairman, Aruna Shantha Hettiarachchi, said economic centers, including the Colombo Manning Market, had asked him not to send stocks of vegetables that day due to trade union action by government and private sector employees.
Accordingly, stocks of vegetables will not be distributed on the day after tomorrow, he added.
