Police today arrested Fill-T, a well-known rapper who has been the subject of occasional controversial social media conversations.
Fill-T has been arrested for misbehaving near a conference organized by the Minister of Ports and Shipping Rohitha Abeygunawardena at Thakshila Vidyalaya, Keselwatta, Panadura today.
There he had shouted obscene words and obstructed the police officers who were on duty nearby.
He also tried to remove the face mask of the OIC of the Panadura North (Keselwatta) Police Station.
The suspect rapper has been arrested by the Panadura North Police to control the situation.
He was produced before the Panadura Additional Magistrate and released on bail this afternoon.
