Flying drone cameras over May Day parades without permission is prohibited

The Police Headquarters has made an announcement regarding the use of drones for May Day demonstrations, meetings and celebrations held on the occasion of World Labor Day.

It is emphasized that if drone cameras are used to take photos and videos of the May Day parades, rallies and celebrations to be held tomorrow (01) for the World Labor Day, proper permission should be obtained.

The police headquarters informs that the use of drones to cover unauthorized May Day parades, rallies and celebrations is prohibited.

This will be applicable to all May Day rallies across the island.

The police headquarters has also informed that the unauthorized drone users will be dealt with legally.
