Republican members of the US House of Representatives vote in favor of opening a formal impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden. The poll was held on the 13th.
The purpose of the impeachment is to investigate matters including the president’s use of the powers of his office to improperly benefit his son Hunter Biden and other family members from foreign business deals.
After this, the impeachment charges will also be forwarded to the Senate and related investigations will continue until next year.
