The meeting was held yesterday (06) evening at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The Australian Prime Minister, Mr. Anthony Albanese who came to participate in the 6th China International Import Exhibition, is on an official visit to China at the same time.
Chinese President, Mr. Xi Jinping pointed out that the exchanges between China and Australia in various fields have been restored under the common efforts of both sides.
The Chinese President said there that the China-Australia comprehensive strategic partnership should be carried forward continuously, based on the common benefits of the two countries.
China follows the strategy of openness with common gains. The Chinese President also pointed out that the establishment of China as a powerful country will bring unprecedented opportunities to the rest of the world, including Australia.
Mr. Anthony Albanese said that China’s long-term stability and continuous development is beneficial for Australia and the world. The Chinese people have the right to development.
He also mentioned that he always has a positive attitude regarding the outlook of the Chinese economy.
