According to the Palestinian Health Department, the operations of almost half of the 35 hospitals in the Gaza Strip have been stopped. The same department also stated yesterday (1) that many medical clinics are being forced to close.
As of yesterday (01), 130 of the medical staff in the Gaza Strip have been killed and 28 ambulances have been destroyed.
The Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital, the only cancer treatment hospital in the Gaza Strip, has suspended its services due to Israeli bombings and running out of fuel, said Palestinian Health Minister Mai Al Kaila. There is a serious threat to the lives of 70 cancer patients in the hospital. Because of this, she once again asked Israel to stop the military operations and allow the volunteer medical teams to come to the Gaza Strip with the necessary medicines and medical supplies to treat the wounded.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East said after his visit to Gaza yesterday (1), he was shocked by the lack of food, water and fuel there.
