Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that he is ready to cooperate with China in resisting totalitarianism and protecting international fairness and justice. He said this when he met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, in Moscow yesterday (20).
Putin said that Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Russia, which took place last March, marked the beginning of a new era in the relationship between the two countries. He also emphasized that Russia, which highly appreciates the ‘One Belt One Road’ initiative, will support it firmly.
Mr. Wang Yi said here that China is ready to work together with Russia, taking the agreement reached by the heads of state of the two countries as the basic guide, improving mutual strategic trust.
