According to the country’s reports, the deadly forest fire raging in the Maui island region of the Hawaiian Islands belonging to the United States since last week has become a fire hurricane and the same region has been completely destroyed.
Although the number of dead identified so far is around 100, it may be doubled or tripled, the Governor has stated.

Hundreds of people are still unaccounted for, although dogs are helping search teams find bodies, according to local reports.
Maui Regional Police Chief John Pelletier told the media that even with maximum capacity, teams with dogs trained to detect bodies had covered only about 3% of the area as of last Saturday night.
Authorities also point out that even if 10 to 20 bodies are found per day, it will take 10 days or more to find all the bodies.
The governor has said that the task of finding the bodies is also in an extremely dangerous situation.
