The company that produced the video communication Zoom software, which became popular around the world during the Corona epidemic, has informed its staff to return to the office to perform their duties.
Zoom has said in its decision that it believes a “structured hybrid approach” is more effective, requiring people living within 80 kilometers of an office to visit the office at least twice a week.
At one point, however, Zoom stated that its staff would be able to work online indefinitely. But the Zoom company has now said that the new policies related to reporting employees to work will be implemented in August or September according to a proper system.
Although it is mandatory for employees to come to the office, Zoom company also mentions that they are taking steps to recruit talented people to their company regardless of location and country. Meanwhile, as of the end of January, Zoom employed about eight thousand four hundred people, more than half of whom are residents of the United States.
In the meantime, many companies around the world have to put in a lot of effort to bring employees to their offices. Recently, it was reported from Australia that some employees are demanding to raise their salaries in order to come back to the office.
