An Indian MiG-21 fighter jet crashes

Two civilians were killed this morning (08) when an Indian Air Force MiG 21 fighter plane crashed in the Hanumangarh area of Rajasthan.

The Indian Air Force has announced that the pilot of the crashed fighter jet is safe with minor injuries.

As soon as the plane took off from the Suratgarh airbase, the pilot informed the control center about the technical fault in the plane.

“An IAF MiG-21 aircraft crashed near Suratgarh during routine training this morning. The pilot escaped unharmed with minor injuries. The Indian Air Force issued a statement saying that an investigation has been started to find out the cause of the accident.”
