The Electoral Commission says that this year’s Electoral Roll will be displayed at all Grama Niladhari Offices, Divisional Secretariats and District Election Offices from today 15th to 12th July.
The Elections Commission states that the public will be informed during that period about the names that will be included in the Electoral Roll and those that will be removed.
Also, if there are any objections, they can be submitted from the 15th to the 12th of July.
The Elections Commission has requested the public to contact the Grama Niladhari of the area where they reside and confirm their registration in the Electoral Roll as those whose names are not mentioned in the Electoral Roll will not be able to cast their votes.
