An Attorney-at-Law has requested the Police Headquarters under the Freedom of Information Act to know the names of the 182 unqualified OICs and the police stations where they serve, as pointed out in a letter sent by the IGP to the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Security.
According to an eight-page secret document sent by the IGP to the Secretary to the Ministry of Defense dated December 1, 2021, 184 OICs have been appointed between January 1, 2021 and November 3, 2021.
The letter states that all but two of the 184 officers are unqualified.
The lawyer asked under the Information Act who the officers are.
