Jailed politician Ranjan Ramanayake attended his relative’s funeral in Negombo amidst tight security, Daily Mirror reports.
According to a Daily Mirror report, the Prisons Department said that Ramanayake was allowed to attend the funeral following the request of Ramanayake ‘s relatives, who requested that the former MP be allowed to pay his last respects.
Accordingly, Ranjan Ramanayake had arrived from the Angunakolapelessa Prison in a prison bus amidst prison security.
