An Act to seize ill-gotten money

0

Head of Presidential Staff and Senior Security Adviser Mr. Sagala Ratnayake, said that if money has been earned illegally, a bill will soon be brought to seize that money wherever it is in the world.

Mr. Sagala Ratnayake said this today (08) while attending the opening of the new Litro filling terminal in Mabima.

Mr. Sagala Ratnayake also said:

Not only without gas queues and fuel queues, the country has come forward from where it fell in two years.

The rupee has strengthened further. The value of USD has reached 296. Inflation has decreased from seventy six percent to 3 percent.

There is a lot of work to be done by strengthening bilateral trade agreements, developing renewable energy, modernizing agriculture, and reducing production costs. We need to develop our human resources through education.

The government cannot clap with one hand. Citizens should join together for the future of the country. Everyone should be able to say good things. Orders and regulations have been brought for the country.

We will soon bring a bill to this country that can confiscate money that has been earned illegally, wherever it is in the world. As a government, we accept that challenge.

Even though there is a vote, the President is still doing the work of building the country. You have also seen him doing election work. So let’s build this country together, said Mr. Sagala Ratnayake.
