Mahinda Amaraweera, the senior vice president of the Freedom Party, said that he will participate in the discussion only if he received an invitation.

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya says that they will not participate in the discussion with the representatives of the International Monetary Fund.

The National People’s Power says it will not participate in the discussion.

But the Ilangei Tamil Arasu Party is of two minds regarding participation in the discussion.

President Ranil Wickramasinghe had decided to give the opposition an opportunity to discuss the proposals of the International Monetary Fund with its high-ranking delegation.
