The United States has eased travel restrictions on Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the US has changed its advice to Sri Lankan citizens not to visit Sri Lanka saying as, “Consider visiting Sri Lanka.”
The US Embassy in Colombo said in a Twitter message that the US had relaxed the fourth level of travel restrictions imposed on Sri Lanka to the third level.
The US embassy said in a statement that the travel restrictions on Sri Lanka were placed at the third level due to the situation in the country.
Travel restrictions are imposed on different countries, such as the United States, and are published in four levels.
The first level is the average level for the trip. The second level is the advice to be careful. Level 3 refers to reconsideration. The fourth level says not to travel.
