South Korea’s political opposition leader has been stabbed during a news conference, the country’s media reports.
According to the report, the stabbing was done on the left side of the neck of opposition leader Lee Jae-Myung in the southern port city of Busan.
The police said that the person who did the stabbing was arrested on the spot and the security forces said that the person is between 50 and 60 years old.
According to the report, the relevant person assaulted the opposition leader under the guise of getting a commemorative autograph and the incident was also spread in the country’s social media.
