The government has decided to revoke the given license of W. M. Mendis Liquor Company own by Arjun Aloysius, owner of Perpetual Treasuries Group, who is accused in connection with the bond scam.
The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting held this afternoon.
However, during last week several steps had taken to issue a license to resume production in orde to recover billions of Rupees in taxes and arrears due by W. M. Mendis Company.
