The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority says that a total of 1,066,651 tourists have visited the country in the last 10 months of this year.
The authority said that more than 50,000 tourists have visited the country in the last few days of this month.
The authority has stated that 50,395 tourists have visited the country between the 1st and 15th of this month.
Most of them are Indians, and the number is 12,261.
It is also reported that tourists from several countries such as Russia, British, China, Germany, Australia have visited the country during that time.
Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority also announced that over 111,938 tourists have visited the country in the last month.
