Chris Silverwood, coach of the Sri Lankan cricket team said that their aim is to play until the final match of the World Cup qualifying tournament.
The Sri Lankan team had to join the qualifying round of playing in the ODI World Cup this time.
The tournament started yesterday (18) in Zimbabwe, and the first match that Sri Lanka will face is started today (19) against the United Arab Emirates.

Chris Silverwood, who answered that, pointed out that it is the hope of the Sri Lankan team to play in the World Cup by playing until the final match.
We have hope for our team. We always try to take the pressure off ourselves and play. We play to win. There are very good teams in this tournament. So we hope to win by playing very well, said the coach of the Sri Lankan cricket team, Chris Silverwood.
In this qualifying tournament, hosts Zimbabwe, West Indies, United States of America, Nepal and Netherlands will compete under Group A, while Ireland, Oman, Scotland, Sri Lanka and United Arab Emirates will compete under Group B.
