President Ranil Wickramasinghe has appointed new members for the Public Service Commission.
Accordingly, Mr. Sanath Jayantha Ediriweera, a retired senior administrative officer, has been appointed as the new chairman of the Public Service Commission. The other members are Sitthi Marina Mohammed, Narasinha Herath Mudianselage Chithrananda, Prof. Naganathan Selvakkumaran, Chandraratne Pallegama, Manikka Badathuruge Rohana Pushpakumara, Dr. Angampodi Damitha Nandani De Soysa, and Mr. Ranjini Nadarajapillai.
These appointments have been made by President Ranil Wickramasinghe on the recommendation of the Constitutional Council.
